It had been my plan to update on how the Virginia Comic-Con had gone (short version: very well and lots of fun). But that good cheer and fun weekend was wiped away almost single-handedly by news coming out of Ferguson, Missouri.

I remember Rodney King. I couldn’t stop myself from following Kelly Thomas. And now Michael Brown.

I have no words except disappointment and shame.
